I have been asked a number of times about including a section on Great Britain, particularly with regard to ‘Biker Friendly’ Accommodation, Camp Sites, Pubs and Restaurants and I do intend to when time allows but in the meantime I can thoroughly recommend:-

The guide lists loads of biker friendly stop-offs many of which include discount vouchers in the back of the guide.

Hi and welcome to A Bikers Guide to Europe. As you proceed through the site you will probably realize that I am new to web page design. In fact this is my very first effort, but I hope that you will continue because I hope to improve with practice and I will endeavor to update and add to the site. I live and work in the north east of England, in a village near Stockton-on-Tees to be more precise. I work as a Traffic Signal Engineer for a local authority that designs, installs and maintains traffic signals within the old Cleveland County boundaries. Apart from my family my main interests in life are motorcycling and travelling, preferably both at the same time, and I suppose computers, otherwise I wouldn’t have put this site together, (I have to have something to do when I can’t ride my bike).
I started biking many years ago probably inheriting the passion from my father who rode bikes both for pleasure and necessity. My first bike was a Honda 250G5 and despite a break of nearly 12yrs, (wife, kids and mortgage etc), I still enjoy biking immensely and currently own a Honda STX1300 Pan European which I ride all year round and has currently covered over 38,000mls, and a Honda CB600F Hornet with over 52,000mls. Biking for me is all about friendship, the feeling of freedom and the sheer pleasure of riding a motorcycle on an open road with fast sweeping bends and warm weather. I am an avid race fan and regularly watch British Superbikes, MotoGP and all forms of club racing. I travel abroad on the bike as often as I possibly can and have toured to France, Switzerland, Holland, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Ireland and eastern Europe including Romania and Poland.
I have tried to put together a site that reflects my interest in biking but also one that visitors will find useful with regard to tips for traveling abroad on a bike and, I hope, some useful biking links. I would be most grateful if anyone who views the site would take a couple of minutes to sign my guest book and pass on any comments you might have, and in particular, any tips/requests you have for items/links/info etc, I could include in the future.
Many Thanks
Allan Wren
